Aurora

Aurora is doing great!  As you can see from her picture, she has gained weight.  She’s especially doing well considering that within a month of her radiation treatment, she had to have surgery to remove a cancerous lump that erupted her skin.  She was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago and a new lump appeared in the same area.  Dr. Glass and I had hoped it would wait until she was further along in her thyroid recovery, but it grew suddenly and broke the skin, causing an ugly sore.  She came through the surgery like a champ and and has continued to do well ever since!
