Soft tissue and delayed bone images of a 5 year old German Shepherd dog with a right rear leg lameness due to an avulsion of the cranial cruciate ligament. This study shows a very focal lesion in the bone at the origin of the cranial cruciate ligament. Radiographs were normal. The dog responded well to surgical repair of the cruciate ligament.
