What should you expect during your pet’s appointment at Advanced Veterinary Medical Imaging
If you are currently ill or have within the last 14 days suffered any symptoms of an upper respiratory virus or have come into contact with others at risk of exposure to Covid-19 including recent international travel, please arrange to have someone else bring your pet to our facility.
Call from car on arrival
In an effort to enforce social distancing in our practice we request that clients call us from their car upon arrival in our parking lot. We will apply our COVID-19 Owner Contact Guidelines to determine the best method to admit your pet.
Even in normal times, we routinely disinfect our hospital with anti-viral cleaners designed to kill FeLV, FIV, Feline Herpes, as well as Coronavirus. In accordance with evolving CDC guidelines, we are increasing the frequency and robustness of our cleaning protocols, as well as giving all surfaces you might touch a thorough cleaning between appointments.
How we disinfect the hospital:
- Counters are sprayed with a medical disinfectant after each patient’s visit (including the reception counters).
- Staff members wash their hands after each patient interaction.
- Credit card machines, door handles, and other shared equipment are wiped down after each interaction.
