Over the next few weeks clinicians at the Feline Centre, Langford veterinary Services, University of Bristol, will be contacting every veterinary practice across the UK to invite them to complete a questionnaire regarding the management of feline hyperthyroidism. With new treatment options becoming available to practitioners there are different opinions about the most effective way to manage this condition.
As the vast majority of hyperthyroid cats are managed within general practice there is a huge wealth of information and experience that could be used to help guide and shape the way that this condition is treated in the future. In order to obtain the most accurate representation of general practitioner experience and opinion it is vital that we achieve a high response rate to the questionnaire. As an incentive we are offering entry into a prize draw for an iPad2, John Lewis vouchers and CPD. Practices will be contacted directly, by e-mail; however, the questionnaire is web-based and can be completed by accessing the following link: www.survey.bris.ac.uk/awb/hyperthyroid-cat-survey
