The more common clinical manifestations, both the historical and the physical abnormalities, associated with recognized endocrine disturbances in the dog and cat will be discussed . There are few times when the history and findings on physical examination are diagnostic of a particular endocrine disorder. Not infrequently the clinical manifestations are non specific and suggest multi-organ system involvement. This is to be expected, as the disturbances will involve those organs and organ functions which are influenced by a particular endocrine function.
