iCat webcams

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using the iCat webcam streams available at the https://webcams.avmi.net website (the “Service”) operated by Advanced Veterinary Medical Imaging, Inc. (hereafter referred to as AVMI).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.
Logistics:
Every hyperthyroid cat hospitalized for radioiodine therapy is assigned its own personal cat cottage. A single iCat webcam is located within each individual cat cottage. As a result, each hospitalized hyperthyroid cat has its own unique iCat webcam. Access to the iCat video streams is limited by a username and password requirement. AVMI will create a unique username and password and provide this information to the client following the admission of their cat for radioiodine therapy. The unique username and password combination provided to a client is only valid for the iCat webcam assigned to their cat. As a result, clients can only view the video stream for their hyperthyroid cat. The credentials needed to view hospitalized hyperthyroid cats other than the client’s is not provided. This service is offered at no charge to the client.
Intended purpose:
Access to these streams is provided to share information about the client’s hyperthyroid cat during its hospitalization for radioiodine therapy. It is our goal as well as our experience that the Service will provide additional information that will be reassuring to the client about the condition and management of their cat during its hospitalization. We appreciate and benefit from client feedback about their cat’s experience during its radioiodine therapy. We encourage clients to communicate concerns they have about the health or management of their cats based on their observations of the cat’s behavior or environment using the webcam.
However, the layout of the items within the cat cottages is best assessed in person as the field of view of the webcam does not encompass the entire cat cottage and the nature of the relatively wide-angle lens may distort some perspectives. Furthermore, the limited optical resolution of the webcams can make assessing the water level in a water bowl difficult. As a result, requests to modify the layout of the items within a cat cottage must be reviewed and approved locally before being implemented. After local review, some requests to modify the layout of the items within the cottage will be denied.
The Service is not provided to encourage clients with hospitalized hyperthyroid cats to micromanage the details of the layout of their hyperthyroid cat’s cottage. Calling to request the rearrangement of items within the cat cottage more than 2 times daily will result in the termination of the Service.
AVMI Cat Cottage Layout:
The AVMI cat cottages are set up in a consistent fashion that includes the placement of the dry food and water bowls on the floor in the front of the cottage on the side opposite the webcam. The canned food, provided on a paper plate, is placed on the floor in the front of the cottage immediately below the webcam. This placement is designed to optimize floor space and prevent the cat from knocking over or stepping in the food or water bowls. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Advanced Veterinary Medical Imaging has no control over and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
